ベルリンテクノのドン、Rene Pawlowitzが戻ってきました。今回彼は、新しいアイデンティティをとりました。

Evil Fredという名(この名前はShedと共に素晴らしい名前です)で彼は2つの非常に重いダンスフロア―モンスターの発表ををしました。

‘Get On’ と‘Back Out’は彼の12“デビューになり、the H2 imprintからの発売です。

‘Get On’はオープニングのトラックで、とても気持ちの良い過去を切り取った感じで、コンテンポラリーのテクノとAphex Twinのクラシック R&S プロダクションの衝突のようなサウンドです。

裏面の‘Back Out’はA1に比べてずっと控え目です。そして、たぶんおそらく “Balearic rave”のタグよりもずっと価値があります。

Berlin techno don Rene Pawlowitz is back, and this time he’s taken on a new identity.

Operating as Evil Fred (a name almost as good as Shed), Pawlowitz has coughed out two heavy-duty dancefloor monsters – ‘Get On’ and ‘Back Out’, both which make up his debut 12″ for the H2 imprint. Opening track ‘Get On’ is a deliciously throwback cut, sounding like a collision of contemporary Berlin techno and Aphex Twin’s classic R&S productions.

Flipside track ‘Back Out’ meanwhile is far more restrained, and probably more worthy of the “Balearic rave” tag the EP has been lumbered with.
